About Aquila

Aquila Shelters Ltd was founded in 1986 in order to provide businesses, event managers, schools & colleges, local councils and individuals with a new form of tensile canopy.

The patented Aquila system was engineered to our brief by Buro Happold, a world leader in the field who has worked on the Sydney Opera House, the Millennium Dome, and the Olympic Stadium.

Our highly experienced manufacturing and installation teams are committed to providing canopies that are structurally engineered for safety, strength and durability. Our canopies not only provide a practical and cost effective solution to any specific need but also make a visually striking statement about your organization or event.

Aquila operates in accordance with the Institute of Structural Engineers Guidance for the use of Temporary Demountable Structures (2007). Our experienced team is available to carry out routine inspection and maintenance work within the terms and duration of the contract agreed.
