In September 2010 Aquila supported the BBC with their inaugural 'Liv-stock' festival from the Souter Lighthouse near South Shields, for 5 live's Septemberfest broadcast live by presenter Tony Livesey.
The event hosted former Newcastle and England defender Steve Howey and Sunderland captain Michael Gray, with guests including former Newcastle midfielder John Anderson and North East comedian, Tony Jameson. Live music came from three local bands - The Futureheads, Little Comets and Lanterns on the Lake.
